DEADLINE: ASU Earth and Space Journalism Fellowship

Arizona State University's Fellowship in Transdisciplinary Science supports a journalist for one month with an $8,000 stipend so that person can be on the frontlines of research to see how scientists grapple with the problems of today’s world and forge new directions in science. Deadline: July 1, 2019.

SEJ Joins RCFP Amicus Brief — Frasier v. Evans

May 6, 2019 — SEJ joined with 38 other journalism groups in filing an amicus brief supporting plaintiff Levi Frasier in Frasier v. Evans. Frasier brought the suit alleging First and Fourth Amendment claims against five Denver police officers who detained, questioned and threatened him with arrest after he filmed them on his tablet arresting and beating someone on a public street.
