Workshops and Fellowships

This two-year-long fellowship is open to three early- to mid-career journalists who want to develop their investigative reporting skills. It pays $75,000 per year and includes full benefits. Fellows will start on July 1, 2021. Apply by May 23, 11:59 p.m. PT.

Solutions Journalism Without Borders' pilot program in Antigua, Guatemala will run from July 3-31, 2021. Learn how to catalyze high-impact solutions reporting in order to amplify marginalized voices and reframe coverage of complex issues in underserved communities around the world. ​Deadline is May 10.

These fellowships, a collaboration between the Pulitzer Center and the Chicago Council on Global Affairs, aim to promote international reporting by Chicago and Midwestern journalists. One or two fellowships of $10,000 to $20,000 will be awarded in this round. Apply by Feb 1, 2024.

This new, paid fellowship at Vermont Law School's Environmental Law Center, Jul 12-22, 2021, is open to journalists who cover issues related to agriculture, factory farming and/or animal welfare, and related environmental/public health risks. Apply by Apr 26.
