Toolbox: Website Offers Profusion of Government Science Links

July 29, 2009

Environmental reporters may find it just a bit easier to get access to federal agencies' scientific information about the environment because of www.science.gov.

The newish federal Web site pulls together hundreds of links to rarely visited Web pages published by a vast variety of federal offices and programs doing science on environmental and other topics. See a sample here.

It also has collections of links on agriculture and food; earth and ocean sciences; energy and energy conservation; natural resources and conservation; and other topics relevant to environmental journalists.
