This American Chemical Society award recognizes, encourages and stimulates outstanding reporting directly to the public, which materially increases the public's knowledge and understanding of chemistry, chemical engineering and related fields. The Center for Health Journalism at the USC Annenberg School of Journalism is offering Impact Fund grants of $2,000-$10,000 for groundbreaking reporting on the health of underserved communities in California, including an exploration of environmental conditions where people live and work. Deadline: Sep 20, 2019.

This annual fund is offering two $5,000 grants in 2019 — one each for a humanitarian and an environmental photography project. Open to professional or emerging photographers from any country, worldwide. Apply by July 31.
