FED Report Assesses Wind Energy

April 11, 2007

A report on the environmental pros and cons of wind power is scheduled to be released April 25, 2007, by the National Academies National Research Council. The report is expected to cover topics such as "viewsheds," wildlife, habitat disruption, air pollution, water resources, and processes such as siting, construction, and operations.
