Ecological Society of America (ESA) Annual Meeting

Event Date:
August 4, 2024 to August 9, 2024

Press registration is now open for the Ecological Society of America’s 2024 Annual Meeting, the world’s largest gathering of professional ecologists. The 2024 meeting will run from Sunday through Friday, August 4-9, at the Long Beach Convention Center, 300 E Ocean Blvd, Long Beach, CA.

ESA invites press and institutional public information officers to attend for free (see credential policy). A virtual registration option is available for those unable to attend in person; virtual registration provides full access to the meeting program, as well as some livestreamed and recorded programming.

Sessions will feature research relevant to both regional and global environmental issues. This year’s opening plenary will feature Jackie Grant, the Executive Director of Grand Staircase Escalante Partners. Dr. Grant applies over two decades of ecological and policy expertise to preserve the biologically important desert landscapes of southwestern Utah and northern Arizona. See our other plenaries and keynotes.
