The Crap Shoot, Is Your Neighborhood Pool Making You Sick?

The Washington City Paper tested 27 public pools in the nation's capital and 37 percent of them came up positive for bacteria that can lead to outbreaks of Cryptosporidium, Giardia, Shigella, norovirus, E. coli infection and other recreational water illnesses. http://www.washingtoncitypaper.com/display.php?id=37705

DEADLINE: USC Annenberg National Health Journalism Fellowship

USC Annenberg Center for Health Journalism's annual reporting grants and health journalism fellowships will be held June 23-26, 2025. Preference given to reporters pursuing collaborative projects between mainstream and ethnic news outlets. Deadline is Apr 9.
