DEADLINE: Columbia Energy Journalism Fellows Program

Event Date:
March 3, 2025

The Center on Global Energy Policy at Columbia University invites applications for the 2025 Energy Journalism Fellows program.

Taught by CGEP scholars, Columbia faculty, and other academic, industry, and government experts, EJF has enrolled 120 journalists globally since its inception in 2017.

A unique opportunity for journalists to meet and learn from some of the world’s leading energy experts and enhance their networks, members of the media gain a greater understanding of critical topics to aid balanced reporting.

The program is open to journalists covering energy, climate, and the environment, with preference given to journalists with 5 or fewer years of experience on the beat. This program is free to journalists, including transportation and lodging for those who need it.

The 2025 seminar will be hosted in person in New York City from June 10-13 with presentations and opportunities for small group discussion and networking. To promote an educational experience, the Chatham House Rule will apply.

Deadline: March 3, 2025.

Details and application.
