TOOLBOX: Senate Expenditures Now Online

May 19, 2010

Investigators can now get data on Senate campaign expenditures online at OpenSecrets.org. The Center for Responsive Politics, which maintains the searchable campaign data site, put the data up shortly after the Federal Election Commission made it available.

Data are not yet online for all Senators. To see an example for Sen. Harry Reid, go here.

To see the data, go to OpenSecrets.org, search for the Senator or candidate you are interested, and look for the tab labeled "Expenditures." Click on that.
