Nurses Pushing for Healthier Schools

August 29, 2001

To help children heading back to school, the American Nurses Assoc. has just updated its educational package on healthier schools. Written primarily for school nurses, "Safe Workplaces and Healthy Learning Places: Environmentally Healthy Schools" touches on a wide range of subjects -- including children's special vulnerabilities, indoor air quality, pesticides, and environmentally preferable products. ANA: Hope Hall, 202-651-7027.
