Much of the federal news released on Friday afternoons involves things the government hopes no one will notice. On July 27, 2007, the Bush administration released (three years overdue) the 4th U.S. "Climate Action Report" to the U.N. Framework Convention on Climate Change.
This is an update of a 2002 report that acknowledged human causation of climate change, which President Bush dismissed as "put out by the bureaucracy."
