"The House last night voted to cut off funding for Trump administration efforts to drill off the Atlantic coast, as the chamber launched debate on a second multibill spending package that includes funds for EPA and the Interior Department.
The bipartisan drilling amendment, offered by Rep. Joe Cunningham (D-S.C.), would block NOAA from approving oil and gas exploration off the Atlantic coast, including seismic air gun testing.
While the House has slogged through hundreds of spending amendment votes during the past week, Cunningham's proposal was adopted by voice vote."
