"Judge Rules for Luminant in Sierra Club Suit"

"A federal judge in Waco has ruled in favor of power generator Luminant against claims from the Sierra Club it had broken state and federal air pollution laws."

"The environmental group filed a lawsuit against Luminant in 2012, claiming that the company’s Big Brown coal-fired plant in Fairfield was pumping soot and other particulate matter into the atmosphere beyond what the law allows.

Al Armendariz, a campaign director with the Sierra Club, said the group was still considering its next move."

James Osborne reports for the Dallas Morning News February 26, 2014.
