IPCC Fifth Assessment Report, Climate Change 2014: Mitigation of Climate Change
This report assesses the literature on the scientific, technological, environmental, economic and social aspects of mitigation of climate change since 2007, when the Fourth Assessment Report was released. The next update, AR6 Climate Change 2022: Mitigation of Climate Change, is scheduled for release in March 2022.

Fifth National Climate Assessment: Mitigation
Part of the 2023 U.S. government assessment report, this chapter assesses how improved understanding of climate science and impacts points to mitigation pathways. Sections cover net-zero emissions, achieving emissions reductions, new mitigation options, health and equity, and mitigation at many scales.

Adaptation Clearinghouse
An online database and networking site aimed at helping communities adapt to climate change. Developed by the nonpartisan Georgetown Climate Center.

Climate Change Adaptation Resource Center
An interactive U.S. Environmental Protection Agency site that provides location-specific information about relevant adaptation strategies, case studies illustrating how communities have successfully adapted to risks and the tools they used, and EPA funding opportunities. See also this EPA information on smart growth and climate change.

Fifth National Climate Assessment: Adaptation
A chapter of the 2023 U.S. government report, focused on the insufficiency of adaptation efforts, equity in adaptation, transformative adaptation, adaptation governance, collaborative adaptation and adaptation finance.

Climate Adaptation — UNEP
Information about United Nations Environment Programme climate change adaptation projects, including the Global Adaptation Network and the World Adaptation Science Programme. EU Adaptation Strategy

Adaptation to Climate Change in Urban Areas
A step-by-step guide to the Urban Adaptation Support Tool. This tool was developed by the European Climate Adaptation Platform, Climate-ADAPT, a partnership between the European Commission and the European Environment Agency.

Climate Change, Resilience and Informality
