IRE AccessFest 2024

Join Investigative Reporters and Editors for our fourth-annual, virtual-by-design conference. The conference will provide professional development opportunities that focus on diversity, belonging, equity and inclusion issues within the newsroom and in news coverage. AccessFest also will feature some of the best sessions from past NICAR and IRE Conferences including tried and true data skills and investigative techniques.

AccessFest fellowships are available for the following communities:

Journalists, students and educators of color
Women who are early-career (three years or less) or students
U.S.-based journalists and independent journalists
International journalists and educators

Fellowships include:

One-year IRE membership/renewal ($25-75 value)
Complimentary conference registration ($50-150 value)
