DEADLINE: Terrain.org's 12th Annual Contests in Poetry, Nonfiction and Fiction

Calling all creative writers whose muse is ecology: the world's eldest online environmental lit mag, Terrain.org, announces that its 12th Annual Contests in Poetry, Nonfiction and Fiction are now open for submissions. This year the grand prize in each genre is doubled: $1,000 each, plus $100 for each finalist. All submissions are considered for publication. The cost to submit is $20 per story, essay or article, or set of 3-5 poems (or single long poem). Submissions are welcome from new and experienced authors and artists alike.

The award-winning judges this year are Ellen Bass (poetry), Aimee Nezhukumatathil (nonfiction) and Maurice Carlos Ruffin (fiction).
