"Study: Can Hurricanes Cause Climate Change?"

While many scientists think global warming will bring more intense hurricanes, a new scientific paper suggests that the climate system may also work the other way around. Authors looking at data from the Pliocene era say hurricanes may have created a permanent El Nino condition that enhanced warming.
