Big newspapers may have a staff of designers who can make stories pop online. But there are tools you can use to give your stories the same treatment.  Dale Willman of the Columbia Climate School’s Resilience Media Project for a discussion with graphics editor Mira Rojanasakul of the New York Times.

Rojanasakul is the graphics editor who developed the design of the NYT's August 12, 2022 article "The Coming California Megastorm."
