"Top Interior Aide Resigns After Anti-Muslim Posts Surface"

"A top Interior Department official who served as a special assistant to Secretary Ryan Zinke resigned Wednesday after CNN discovered her history of making anti-Muslim and conspiracy theory posts on social media.

CNN reports Christine Bauserman resigned from her post Wednesday after the network informed Interior of a series of controversial posts Bauserman had shared on her Facebook and Twitter accounts.

The posts include a number critical of former President Obama, including one post that asked Facebook users to share it if they wanted President Trump to unseal Obama’s birth and college records."
