DEADLINE: Science of Innovation Summit for Journalists
The Science of Innovation Summit for Journalists at the University of Chicago, founded in 2017, offers professional science and technology journalists a respite from deadlines and insight into pressing subjects, such as climate and energy science, the microbiome, advanced batteries, precision medicine and more.
Program Dates: Nov. 5-8, 2017
Application Deadline: Aug 15, 2017
Application Process: Applicants are asked to pose a question for a University of Chicago department or scientist, a question they believe university faculty are uniquely positioned to answer. Those questions will then be used to set the summit agenda. Apply Now.
Summit Size: 8-10 journalists for the inaugural year
Amenities: Lodging and meals are covered, plus a $500 stipend to cover airfare and ground transportation to and from Chicago.
