Are you hunting for inspiration and tools to elevate your beat writing? Invest in your creativity and your career at “True Story: The Art and Craft of Creative Nonfiction,” a week-long writing workshop led by Pulitzer Prize-winning reporter and world-renowned writing coach Jacqui Banaszynski at the Madeline Island School of the Arts in La Pointe, Wisconsin, January 9-13, 2017.

“True Story” draws all level of nonfiction writers, from beginning journalists finding their footing to veteran magazine freelancers and book authors to specialty beat reporters at newspapers and online sites. The workshop is intense, intimate and supportive: A community of 10-to-15 writers gather to challenge themselves and each other. With Jacqui’s guidance, they rediscover the roots of the reporting/writing craft and stretch to the next level of their skills and voice.
