"State and federal courts handed down three decisions against a proposed copper and gold mine in Alaska that environmentalists are staging a nationwide fight against.
Alaska’s Supreme Court ruled unanimously that the state did not go through the proper process in approving Pebble Mine near Bristol Bay since it would dispose of a public good, according to the Alaska Dispatch News.
It also ruled unanimously that the group and individuals suing in the case do not have to pay the nearly $1 million in legal fees from the state and Pebble’s developers."
