SEJ Member Spotlight: Christopher Ketcham

Christopher Ketcham is a freelance writer based in Brooklyn, New York, and Moab, Utah. His work has appeared in Harper's, Orion, The American Prospect, Vanity Fair, GQ, and many other publications. His 2010 piece for Orion about urban coyotes, "New Dog in Town," was selected as an entry in the Best American Science and Nature Writing anthology.

Chris is a grantee in the Winter 2012 cycle of SEJ's Fund for Environmental Journalism. He will be reporting on the Colorado River in the context of Southwest sustainability.
