Many Wisconsin Families at Risk from Tainted, Untested Wells

"More than a third of Wisconsinites rely on well water in their homes, and we've discovered much of that water could be tainted.  The problem: many families don't have their wells tested.  And those wells could contain invisible poisons.

For years, Judy Treml cringed every time she turned on her tap.  Several years ago, the Kewaunee woman turned on her water and manure came out of it."

Courtny Gerrish and Maureen Mack report for TMJ-4 Milwaukee October 27, 2010.
