"Interior: Democratic Appropriators Signal Trouble for BLM Move"

"Interior Department officials and congressional Democrats remain on a collision course over the Trump administration's plans to relocate Bureau of Land Management headquarters.

With today as the revised deadline for lease proposals from Grand Junction, Colo., property owners, Interior is steaming ahead with the headquarters move as Democrats try with increased urgency to stop it.

In a sharp letter sent Friday, the top Democrats on the House and Senate appropriations panels that fund Interior emphatically declared they 'oppose any further action' to proceed with the move and demanded the department 'immediately suspend its efforts to relocate' BLM."
