"Greens Vow To Put Aside Differences, Go All-In For Clinton"

"PHILADELPHIA -- Hundreds of Democratic activists and politicians attended a reception hosted by several prominent environmental groups at the posh Warwick Hotel here yesterday, one of the hottest tickets in town.

In 2014, the environmental movement boasted of mounting its "biggest and most sophisticated" effort to support allied politicians. But greens may be even more active and spend higher this time around for Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton.

"We are putting more into this election than we ever have," Michael Brune, the Sierra Club's executive director, said in an interview. "It's a top priority.""
