The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service commissioned a panel of experts to draw up maps and recommendations on how to save the Florida panther -- then buried the report. In the second of a two-part series, Craig Pittman of the St. Petersburg Times looks April 19, 2010, at the politics that came into play, as well as the questionable science that became the basis for allowing development to continue to wipe out Florida panther habitat.
