"Feds Want Bundy Case Reinstated, Say BLM Officers At Risk"

"Federal prosecutors yesterday filed an appeal that seeks to reinstate a criminal indictment against Nevada rancher Cliven Bundy and two of his sons, arguing the case's dismissal last month "increases the risk of danger to federal officers executing their duties" on public lands.

But in a separate motion filed yesterday, prosecutors also moved to dismiss charges against the four remaining defendants in the case, including two other Bundy sons, who had been set to face trial later this month (Greenwire, Jan. 9).

The 29-page appeal asks Chief U.S. District Judge Gloria Navarro to reconsider her decision to dismiss criminal charges against Bundy and three co-defendants stemming from their 2014 armed standoff with federal law enforcement officials near Bunkerville, Nev."
