"U.S. EPA Administrator Scott Pruitt has picked Anne Idsal, a well-connected Texas state official, to lead the agency's Region 6 office.
Since 2015, Idsal has been chief clerk for the Texas General Land Office, where she also had served as general counsel. She worked at the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality, too, including as general counsel and a special adviser to Chairman Bryan Shaw.
As head of EPA's South Central branch based in Dallas, Idsal will manage agency operations in Arkansas, Louisiana, New Mexico, Texas and Pruitt's home state of Oklahoma."
