EPA Ethanol Waiver Decision Today

"The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency said Wednesday it will announce a ruling on Thursday on Texas' request to cut the federal mandate requiring 9 billion gallons of ethanol and other renewable fuels to be blended into gasoline this year. Texas Governor Rick Perry asked EPA in April to cut the mandate by 50 percent in 2008." Ayesha Rascoe reports for Reuters August 6, 2008.
