"A federal appeals court shuffled the judges assigned to an upcoming climate case after an internal dispute arose over one panel member's apparent hostility to a climate science event.
A Tuesday docket notice from the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit showed that Senior Judge Raymond Randolph had been rotated off the set of three judges slated to hear Sept. 6 oral arguments in California v. EPA, a legal challenge to the Trump administration's decision to revisit Obama-era clean car standards.
Judge Sri Srinivasan subbed in, joining Judges Nina Pillard and Judith Rogers.
The D.C. Circuit does not comment on panel lineups; however, according to The Washington Post, the panel reset follows an unusual spat among D.C. federal judges over an invitation to a climate event."
