Digital Security for Journalists
Reporting the news creates unique security risks. Protecting sources and sensitive documents is vital to a free press, but challenging due to Internet surveillance and widespread data collection. This event will cover how to securely manage sensitive information by using encryption software. Help will also be available to install and configure software, so feel free to bring a laptop or mobile device.
Please join SEJ NYC Meetup and CryptoParty NYC on Jan. 23 for a hands-on evening about making your computer and e-communications more secure.
