DEADLINE: National Humanities Center Fellowships
Fellowships are awarded to scholars who have demonstrated achievement in the advanced post-doctoral study of history, languages and literature, and other fields of the humanities. The Center also accepts individuals from the natural and social sciences, the arts, the professions, and public life who are engaged in humanistic projects. Scholars should be engaged in work significantly beyond the revision of a doctoral dissertation. Fellowships are normally for the full academic year (September through May). A limited number of designated fellowships for scholarship concerning nature, environmental history, or ecological concerns are usually available. Fellowships up to $65,000 are individually determined, the amount depending upon the needs of the Fellow and the Center's ability to meet them. The Center provides travel expenses for Fellows and their dependents to and from North Carolina. Deadline: Oct 7, 2021.
