Data Visualization for Storytellers Workshop

Event Date:
June 6, 2016 to June 7, 2016
Let your data tell the story.

Crafting a narrative with important statistics presents many with the challenge of displaying that data in a way that’s both aesthetically pleasing and effective. Whether it's through a map, a chart, or a graph, there are countless ways to get your message across, but it can be difficult to know where to start.

Learn how to navigate the junction of “effective” and “pretty” at Berkeley Advanced Media Institute's Data Visualization for Storytellers workshop. You’ll learn the tools that will help present complex data to an audience, in a way that’s easily accessible to the public, as well as techniques for conveying the story behind that data.
