CitiesIPCC Cities & Climate Change Science Conference
SEJ members are invited to attend and cover the upcoming, first-of-its-kind CitiesIPCC Cities & Climate Change Science Conference, taking place March 5-7 in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. CitiesIPCC, along with nine partner organizations, will be convening elected officials, scientists, UN representatives, urban development experts and others to discuss the latest scientific research on climate change and advance understanding of how cities can address this global challenge.
Just before the conference begins, on March 3-4, mayors from around the world will gather in Edmonton for the Change for Climate Global Mayors Summit. The summit will be a key opportunity for mayors to discuss the critical next steps for combatting climate change.
More information, including how to register to attend the event in person, can be found here.
Journalists interested in covering the event, who are unable to attend in person, please contact Hayley Moller to discuss options for you to cover the conference remotely.
