Carving a Niche in Photojournalism and Getting Published on Major Platforms
On Thursday, June 3, 2021 at 10 a.m. ET, the International Journalists' Network is hosting a webinar to learn about photojournalism within and beyond the COVID-19 era from KC Nwakolor, an independent documentary photographer. Nwakolor, who has a wealth of experience, will guide beginners and those who want to expand their portfolios on the art, practice and business of photojournalism.
Based in Abuja, Nigeria, Nwakolor’s images have been published in Al Jazeera, BBC, Business Week Magazine, MSN, NPR, The Africa Report, The New York Times, The Washington Post
and more.
In addition to sharing his career journey, Nwakolor will teach emerging and practicing photojournalists how to carve a niche for themselves in the field and get their photos published on major platforms. You're also invited to come and see the world, including COVID-19, through the lens of KC Nwakolor.
