DEADLINE: Orion Environmental Writers Workshop
Join the annual Orion Environmental Writers’ Workshop for a unique opportunity to connect with Orion magazine writers and editors.
Are you passionate about nature?
Have you dreamed of honing your ability to convey, through prose or poetry, the inspiring beauty and wonder of the natural world?
The annual Orion Environmental Writers Workshop, hosted by the Omega Center for Sustainable Living in Rhinebeck, NY, is a longstanding, unique opportunity for participants to connect with leading writers and editors, learn more about environmental writing, and renew, illuminate, and deepen their relationship with nature.
Whether you write nonfiction, fiction, or poetry, this application-only program is for those who seek to become better writers about nature and the environment.
Special guests include literary agents, publishers, and editors, who offer advice on book publishing, placing work in magazines and journals, and understanding the world of environmental publishing.
This program is by application only and requires submitting writing samples. Applications will be accepted until May 23 (or until filled) for the Jun 23-28, 2019 workshop. Learn more.
