The Water Desk at the University of Colorado Boulder's Center for Environmental Journalism is offering grants (up to $10,000) to media outlets and individual journalists covering water issues (and intertwined topics) related to the Colorado River Basin. Apply by Jun 16, 2025.

SEJ in Press Freedom Case, Chem Secrecy Bill Fails and More [15]

SEJ joined with several dozen other journalism groups to support the right to film police activity in a public place, and bills to block information of importance to environmental reporters failed in Louisiana, California and Iowa, but a Colorado paper was blocked from covering a wild horse roundup. From Colorado Contrasts to SEJ Shifts [31]

"Judge Revokes Water Permit For Mine Under Montana Wilderness" [47]
