The Cooperative Institute for Great Lakes Research (CIGLR) is offering scholarship opportunities [3] for students from nine of its affiliated research universities to attend Environmental Journalism 2018 [4], the 28th Annual Conference of the Society of Environmental Journalists, October 3-7, in Flint,Michigan.
CIGLR will provide conference registration, travel and housing assistance for up to four students from CIGLR's Regional Consortium Universities: Central Michigan University, Cornell University, Grand Valley State University, University of Michigan-Ann Arbor, University of Minnesota-Duluth, Michigan State University, Ohio State University, University of Windsor and University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
The application deadline is September 11, 2018 at 11:59 pm Eastern. Email applications to Mary Ogdahl [5], CIGLR Program Manager. Applicants will be notified of their status by 5 pm on September 14.
