DOE Closes Door To Journos [1]

July 29, 2009

The Project on Government Oversight reports on a June 2009, incident, originally reported by Nuclear Weapons & Materials Monitor (subscription only), in which journalists were told to leave the room when Deputy Energy Secretary Dan Poneman spoke to a group of lobbyists and private-industry representatives. It was posted on the POGOBlog June 26.

So much for government openness?
