Reporters looking for the local angle on federal energy efficiency programs may want to find out how much their city or county is slated to get in aid under the stimulus bill.
The Energy Department is listing state and local grant allocations under the federal Energy Efficiency and Conservation Block Grant Program on its Web site. [2]
A total of $2.6 billion for these grants was released last week.
