"Campaign 2020: Obama Cites Climate Change In Endorsing Biden" [1]

"Former President Obama backed Joe Biden for president today, saying the former vice president is up to the task of addressing the COVID-19 pandemic and other major problems like climate change.

Obama, for whom Biden was vice president between 2009 and 2017, was widely expected to endorse Biden after he became the presumptive Democratic nominee to run against President Trump. That happened last week with Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders' exit from the race.

"I'm so proud to endorse Joe Biden for president of the United States," Obama said in a video posted this morning."
