The Society for Ecological Restoration's photo contest [1] is open to submissions by members and non-members. Must be 18 or older to enter.

Deadline: Midnight (US Eastern time) October 15, 2017. (Earlybird showcase: Anyone who submits their photo by July 31 will be eligible for an opportunity to have their photo showcased at our upcoming world conference [2]. The top early submissions will printed and displayed in the exhibition hall of the conference.)

Prizes will be awarded, one in each of the following categories:

•  Restoration Before/After
•  Restoration in Action
•  Flora and Fauna
•  Ecosystems
•  Human Dimensions of Restoration

Grand Prize (1):  One grand prize winner will be awarded one year of SER membership, a one year subscription to the journal, Restoration Ecology [3], and a $100 cash prize.

Runner Up Prizes (4): The four other winners will receive one year of SER membership and a one year Restoration Ecology subscription.
