Internews' Earth Journalism Network (EJN) is offering grants of ~$1,200 to journalists worldwide to support the production of in-depth stories that will call attention to coastal resiliency and solutions for coastal issues. Also receive support from journalist mentors and a coastal resilience expert. Deadline is Feb 6, 2023.

Submit a single image made within the last three years showing how technology impacts you and your communities. Open to photographers of any skill level, living and working in the non-Western world. First-place winner receives $1,000; second-place $500; third-place $250. Deadline is Jan 31, 2023.

Photographers Without Borders will award five recipients $5000 USD each to support the creation of an impactful photography project, a video piece and a community exhibition of the work, which must have a strong, tangible call to action pertaining to land and/or water protection. Media organizations, journalist networks, universities and academic institutions focusing on environmental reporting in the Asia and Pacific region (low-and-middle-income countries only) may apply for grants of US$5,000-$20,000. Deadline: Jan 31, 2023.
